No Gigs.

The support and enormous amount of interactions and excitement I've received upon completion of this record has utterly blown me away.

And this month, for the first time since the world reopened, I have NO public gigs!

I could easily hustle and blag something, or beg a mate if I can join them somewhere, but I just don't want to.

Instead, I'm on the drawing board and in rehearsal rooms, figuring out the foundations of the nuances of my new live identity.

The seemingly infinite sonic limitations of recordings end outside the studio. They don't always immediately translate to one guy with a guitar and a keyboard, let alone totally off-the-cuff.

Some I could, but I wrote and recorded most of them to eventually be played a bit angrier by a band. Anything less would underwhelm me, and therefore, probably you too.

So this is my hibernation period (solo-ly, at least). When caterpillars go into cocoons, it'd be downright silly of them to emerge still as caterpillars.

I recently hit the "band" button on my private page. I received an overwhelming amount of contenders - one or two instantly "the one", and many more potential options! There's still room for it to grow, so if it'd be your bag, make your presence known on my radar.

Whether it feels right instantly, or the variables weigh up towards your ticked boxes... then let's see what happens!

Of the two words in "cautiously optimistic", I strangely now feel that I can learn towards the latter.

I'll still pop up in the regular local haunts this month, your Horses and your Peltons, and back on the road with the regular groups to finish the year.

In the meantime, here's a reminder 'Another Guy' and 'Out Of Hand' exist - have a listen and make yourself happy x
